Ida Kemp Shipman was born on August 8, 1923, the twin sister of Charlie Kemp.  Ida always lived in Whiteville, NC, and married Homer Lee Shipman.  They were blessed with 10 children.  Ida enjoyed gardening, flowers, and devoted her life to the care of others.  Ida passed away February 17, 2009.
