Hello Kemp Family,

It’s Reunion time again!  This is your official invitation to the 2026 Kemp Family Reunion with everything you need to register and join us.  The Reunion will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 and we are looking forward to seeing you there.  We will continue our fellowship at Welches Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, July 12, 2026.  An overview of our Saturday reunion celebration is below.

The reunion registration includes a catered lunch, goodie bag, shirt, entertainment and activities for all ages. Royal Blue is the color chosen for this year, representing the family line of Annie Mae Kemp Chestnut.  Fun things are in store for all, including our famous fashion show, puppet show, fishing booth, butter bean auction, corn hole, and more.  Don’t miss it!

We will especially celebrate our young people again this year through individual acknowledgement of their achievements.  We know the younger generation faces new and ever-growing challenges and we want the Kemp Family Reunion to be a place where they can continue growing and building the right foundation for their own strong legacies.  As part of the registration, please include any accomplishments, awards, or community service for each young attendee that can be recognized during the reunion.  To capture this information, please complete the “Youth Accomplishments” form and return with your registration form.  This will help us in our planning.

It’s easy for everyone to participate in this year’s reunion.  A few things to keep in mind:

• Cost to attend reunion, including a t-shirt, is $42. 
• Cost to attend reunion, including a polo shirt, is $50
• Kids age 5 and under eat free. 
• If you’d like to attend but do not need a shirt, the cost is $32 per person.
• To purchase a t-shirt only, cost is $17 for adults, $14 for youth
• To purchase a polo shirt only, cost is $24 for adults, $21 for youth
• You can also donate to the Scholarship Fund using the registration form

Registration forms are available as part of this invitation, through Family Representatives, or you may download and print them directly from the family reunion website.  Please complete and return both the printed form and payments to Gloria Shipman at the following address:  Gloria Shipman, Kemp Family Reunion, 1277 Brown Maultsby Road, Whiteville, NC  28472.  Checks should be made payable to Kemp Family Reunion.
